03/16/2007: "LAUNCH THIS!"
music: Paul Simonmood: Is it Friday yet? Oh yeah,...it is...phew.
Well its the beginning of a new era. The new ticketing system has launched at Artsopolis. And so far...it's a little too quiet. No major crisis, no failures or downs, no confusion, and tomorrow will mark the first Saturday I don't have to officially go in and report to groups. I can have an actual weekend for the first time almost in nearly 18 months. And I can have about 5 hours of time back to do other work during the week. This. Is a good thing. Very. Thought not as good as glitter. But close.
It's the big 40 for my brother and I'll be up in Pleasant Hill celebrating Saturday afternoon (instead of reporting thank you very much) enjoying the GREAT weather and a big backyard. Oh yeah...and a hot tub...mmmm...nice.
Tonight I'm off to see Blue Suede Shoes. May not be my thing at all but I've not been to an opening night at the Ballet before, and I hear this one is quiet...exciting. From a technical perspective, it's at least going to be a big deal. WE will see.
Sunday it's over to Dragon's show, Maybe Baybe It's You which has gotten rave reviews. Looking forward to seeing it for sure.
Rehearsals are going well, and still in la la land, though WAY behind in TV watching. I find TV gets less and less improtant next to smooching and good conversation. ![]()
Now that I have a bit more flexibility in my work schedule, lunches and after work drinks can be arranged. Carry on....
