11/30/2004: "The strange, the bad and the payday"

music: Ben Folds, Beradette Peters, Verve, Neil finn.
mood: Blah!

The stack on the desk waited impatiently today as we had to call in the big gun tech support. It took several hours to revive my spyware infected computer but he made it in the end. 2pm is NOT a good day to be trying to catch up...good thing I came in Sunday for a bit or I might be really screwed. It's Payday at least, so things look up. Electronic bill pay kicks butt by the way. I think direct deposit and web bill pay are just the coolest. Especially when you have a job. razz Now if I can JUST

So, today I was venturing up to the 5th floor and I noticed a red blob on the floor by the elevator and my FIRST reaction was, oh no the blob! Turned out to be a semi melted cough drop I think...eeewww...but funny....once again timing having its way.

Nothing truly new to report. The Work place is cold as a tomb and so I bought myself a pari of "magical" (I just call them that, no reason) cheap knit gloves and turned them into hobo fashion wareby cutting off the tips so I could still type. They need work. I also need a nose over. the tip of my nose is like a dogs in that it seems to always be chilly ( not to be confused wiht chili which would be a really serious problem)

I think the Pumpkins that were late bloomers (takes one to plant one) may have rozen last night. I'm hoping that the rate at which they grew and spread indicated their hartyness and maybe they will produce something fun, orange and round next fall. If I have to send in tech support, I will. I already have to fight the landlord (Chris=]) over them mentally. WE have long slilent psychic conversations about them. So far I think he will let me keep them if I promise not to get Bear a Kitten for the holidays.

Have a good Tuesday people!

The pumpkins look pretty dead I'm afraid... Don't think they'll last somehow. If you get Bear a kitten, make sure its a skinny one, because he's watching his fat intake! :>
