My new installment on the blog will be a hero of the week. I know I know, it's only Tuesday, but it will be a LONG week, trust me. Today's Hero is Zonatto's Tortilla Soup. The new Market a block from the work place is AWESOME. It has a full deli complete with sushi, nacho, salad & potato bar, every drink and cheese known to man practically, the FRESHEST produce, organic meat, flowers a bakery, you name it. Each day they have 6 different soups/chilis and today I sampled the Tortilla Soup. Stips of tortilla in a tomato based soup withblack and pinto beans, cilantro, hominy and a buncho of other yummy stuff. I know it doesn't take much to make me happy when it comes to food but this soup especially with the nippier (read below 70 in the evening) weather hit the spot. The day reminder me of winter, I had a craving for Mexican food and voila answers to my cravings which must under no circumstance go unanswered. I sang my eating song while I chowed down on it just down. Yeah dinner. And so I salute you Tortilla Soup!! Thank you!
