08/11/2004: "Three Pen Day"

It was a three pen day today, which translated means I was motoring around the office today, multitasking and thus over taxing my brain to the point where I ended up with three pens stuck in my ponytail by the end. The phone rang off the hook and I had to leave earlier than I would have liked to but it was still productive...in the good news, a friend got a job that I referred them for, bad news it pays more than I am making. Still at least she won't be out of work for years. Still good news, the cast is shaping up wonderfully for Lion Witch and the Wardrobe. WE have a man that has basically chaneled Father Christmas and A White Queen who is going to make the little kids pee in their pants. The Entire cast is just what I want, Multi racial, multi generational and fun. they have talent to boot and if we just can negotiate our venue by next week i will be relieved. We are still Searching for an Aslan, but he will come along....and it will rock. Lots of work to do tonight on thatmay be a very late night indeed, feels like college only warmer.

I am house sitting and stagemanaging Thursday through Sunday and I want nothing else to do if I can help it so I can maybe get some sleep. Haven't been sleeping well and housesitting always take a few days to get used to. Had some very odd dreams of late. Notihng I will go into detail about though. they are very obviously a result of stuff going on in my life, and though not nightmares, they aren't giving me the rejuvination I was expecting.

Thought I saw a bob cat this evening when I got to the Lounge. No such luck, just a really big domestic cat. Lots of deer though. No snakes. sad.

You will be happy to know I am eating my vegetables...stopped by the store on my way and got some fresh goodies for a stir fry. Yum.

Reading a GREAT book each night alittle before I go to sleep...it's called Kitchen Cofidential...about a chef and how he worked his way through kitchen and additictions and everything that goes on behind the scenes in a restaraunt. EXCELLENT stuff. I highly recommend. I'm reading it as fast as I read the Harry Potter books.

Lots of typos I'm sure, but time is tight tonight more than usual even so deal. My spelling is not why you read this and if it is, seek help.
