10/12/2006: "Disarray!"

Please forgive my absence, Parishioners,

but The Village

has fallen into disarray!


It seems that stones -


dark grey, oblong; elongated grey stone eggs, if you like; about 11 x 5 Holy Units; about one third of a cubic Holy Unit missing from North-East foundations (along the footpath...) of The Rectory

as such; only grey-




from the very foundations of The Rectory


are being stolen!


and launched through various windows

throughout the village -


THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS AND *MUST* CEASE!


Those stones were taken from the same quarry as those of St Barnabus!

and represent not only my Youth

BUT MY FAITH!



I PLEAD these thefts cease

I PRAY for the return of the stones

and I FORGIVE

those who return them

PS: There shall be an Entire, Old Fashioned, Christian CONDEMNATION if The Church does not recover these Important Relics! This goes beyond me, Parishioners!

PPS: This is So Serious that I have been obliged to visit the local Prison & Girl's Comprehensive School (yes, sadly, one institution) to hunt for clues - rather than just my usual Pastoral visit...

Any information would be greatly appreciated (and, perhaps, some Sins might be Forgiven...)
