04/15/2006: "Good Friday"

After a Not-So-Hard-as-Long Days Work™ [oh, Viagra!]

we have repaired to The Rectory.


Dr C & I

have lined up some Chilean Cab Sav
and assorted sweeties

and are wallowing in a fine blend

of Steely Dan and Spitz.




I have, of late,
undertaken a little research into The Thang that is Steely Dan.

I am somewhat overwhelmed
which accentuates my naïve admiration.

BUT

I gotta say

most people don't know much about Steely Dan -

there is a HEAP of stuff out there

which you don't hear on the radio!

Seek! Consume!




However, my favourite might still be Do It Again... (Richie Havens rocked it goo!)


Spitz, on the other hand,

might be my favourite J-Pop group.


I can hardly lift a glass of ale

without singing (to Seth, of course)
