04/11/2006: "Oddizm"
Parishioners may recall that I do so dearly love trains.
I took a train last Saturday.
A handicapped guy got on
and moaned and moaned and waggled his finger in his mouth.
That bothered me - I couldn't read -
but I have no complaint with that.
The guy showed great courage & adaptability
by taking the train by hisself.
Onya Brother!
When he alighted I got back to reading.
Soon afterward, two other Very Strange People sat Far Too Close to me.
A couple of guys who related their Entire History
to the carriage.
I couldn't figure out if they were genuinely retarded
or just socially so.
A fascination with MacGuyver: (Richard Dean Anderson, I discover...
Jesu, he was in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers!)

"Look how skinny he is."
"Yea, he didn't really bulk up until Stargate"
"Do you know how old he is now?"
"About sixty?"
These guys were funny.
