03/29/2004: "Toga!"
Can you believe that it is almost 5 years since the Y2K Toga Party (and the rumoured end-of-civilization)? And ten years since the first Fairbridge Toga Party! Life just seems to fly by so fast... So, as I vowed, its time to start organising the five-yearly Toga at Fairbridge!
I have booked a bunglow (Livingstone) for Friday, December 31st through to Sunday January 2nd - although I may just add the Thursday as well if people are interested. Jamie O has also threatened to book a place too. So, lemme know who's coming, so that I can figure out if we need more space.
Toga, toga, toga toga.....

Judging by those party photos ( who exactly was taking them, you are in every shot) everyone should start drinking now to prepare, even the aussies may be up for a challenge....gentlemen, start your engines....
Dr. Livingstone I presume????
I'm sorry I will most likely miss it.
cheers!

What an excellent idea!!!
I was in Perth last summer so unless I move in the meantime I won't be there, but I fully encourage any of Chris' American friends to take the trek across to the land of OZ

Ah, I offer up an instant ullulating YAWZ! I have many holidays up my sleeve, many months to save & many months to look good in a toga...
I floated this before & it still sounds good [to me]; can we get a buncha musos together & do a set or two?
Something loud to party by, sthg quiet for other times? I know a guy with a ukelele who's bound to be in Perth over NY..
'Thigh Slime' truly is a good name but might, perhaps, be reserved for sthg a little more *accomplished*?
[My current favourite band-name is "Jamie's Toilet" - even have the album-cover photo in hand. Yes, definately up for a gig - Rev Dr, you're in charge of putting the band (that never was) back together! - Chris]

Yay!!! We'll be there with bells on. I never actually saw the photos of the last one...Scary stuff ![]()
I think Rob has only just gotten over 2k. Another fun filled night of people saying 'Oh! You're Chris's nephew!'
Looking forward to it
When are you Perthward bound then?
[Not sure exactly when I'll be back - a lot depends on whether or not we can persuade Jock to get married at Faribridge at the same time! - Chris]
